Thank you for visiting The Charlotte Blackman Memorial Fund website, which has been set up to celebrate the life of Charlotte, and to continue Charlotte's work and raise awareness and funds for local charities and organisations working with autistic and vulnerable children.
Born on 30th January 1990 in Shoreham By The Sea, West Sussex, Charlotte and her family moved to Heanor when she was two years old. Charlotte attended Heanor Langley Infant School, Marpool Junior School, Aldercar Community Language College and Bilborough College.
Once she left Bilborough, she continued her studies at Derby University, and looked forward to a promising career as a teacher having gained a first class honours in Education Studies in May 2012. She was a volunteer for Derbyshire Autism Group at Ripley where she would look after autistic children and take them out on trips.
Charlotte was close to her family, who meant the world to her, her mum Rachel, dad Kevin, sister Sinead, brother Mitchell and boyfriend Matt.
